Kiril Trajchev - Selector of Feature Films
KIRIL TRAJCHEV works as a professor on the Film Academy at the University "Goce Delchev" in Shtip and since 2015 he is a scientific collaborator at the International Slavic University "G.R. Derzhavin". He is a participant of several alternative and non-professional film and theater festivals and author of several amateur short films. His texts have been published in several journals and anthologies of texts. Trajchev is also the author of a book from the area of theater arts and winner of an award for a poetry book. He has participated also in several scientific conferences and for many years takes part in the realization of many theatre projects. -
Dejan Zdravkov - Selector of Short Films
DEJAN ZDRAVKOV, born in Veles, has graduated and finished his MA studies at the Department of Philosophy, University "Ss. Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje. He has also finished his PhD on the same Department in 2015 with a PhD thesis titled "Existence and intuition - Bergson's and Heidegger's notions of Man and Time", mentored by academic Ferid Muhić. He researches in the areas of philosophical anthropology and aesthetics. In his free time, he is writing short stories, scenarios for short films and he also loves painting.

MILCHO MANCHEVSKI
Milcho Manchevski Macedonian film director, writer, photographer, and artist. His Academy-award nominated film BEFORE THE RAIN (1994) won the Golden Lion at the Venice International Film Festival, FIPRESCI and Independent Spirit, along with 30 other awards. The New York Times included it on its "1,000 Best Films Ever Made" list. His work had more than 300 festival screenings (including Venice, Berlin, Toronto, Sao Paolo, Istanbul, Tokyo, Jerusalem, Hong Kong, Stockholm, etc). His films have been distributed in more than 50 countries and he has served on festival juries in Venice, Shanghai, Warsaw, Locarno, Belgrade, etc. -
DAVID SORFA
Dr David Sorfa is a Senior Lecturer in Film Studies at the University of Edinburgh and Programme Director of the MSc in Film Studies. He was previously Head of Film Studies at Liverpool John Moores University, he is editor-in-chief of the international journal "Film-Philosophy" and a trustee on the Board of the Africa in Motion Film Festival. He has written on problems of belief, emotion and subjectivity in cinema, Michael Haneke, Czech film and a broad range of other film subjects. He has particular interests in film-philosophy, phenomenology, existentialism and the work of Jacques Derrida. -
BOSHKO KARADJOV
Asst. Prof. Dr. Boshko Karadjov has a PhD in the field of normative methodology, contemporary epistemology and sociology of knowledge completed on the Institute of Philosophy at the University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” – Skopje. For more than ten years, he has been working as a professor of Philosophy, educator in Political Philosophy and Pop culture, as a university assistant and assistant professor in Political Philosophy, Methodology and Epistemology of Social science and as a scientific researcher within different research projects at the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts.

GABRIELLA CALCHI NOVATI
Dr Calchi Novati works at the intersections of performance studies, biopolitics, and psychoanalytic theory. Her essays on digital cultures, critical theory, film, theater, contemporary art, activism, and politics have been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and in many edited collections. She regularly lectures at international symposia, conferences, and institutions. She is visiting a professor in Trinity College Dublin at the School of Creative Arts and is currently a psychoanalyst in training at the C.G. Jung Institute, Zurich -
NAUM TRAJANOVSKI
Naum Trajanovski is a PhD candidate at the Institute for Philosophy and Sociology at the Polish Academy of Sciences and a researcher at "Ss. Cyril and Methodius" University in Skopje. He holds MA degrees in regional SEE studies (Skopje-Graz-Budapest) and nationalism studies (Budapest) and has worked as a project coordinator of the European Network "Remembrance and Solidarity“ and adviser on the international project „COURAGE – Connecting Collections“. His doctoral theses is on the politics of memory in Macedonia (1964-2018). -
IVO BARU
Ivo Baru, graduated film director at the national Bucharest film academy with participation on more than 30 film festivals. Director of few short films, documentary films and assistant director of several features. As an assistant director Baru was part of the team of the Romanian director Cristi Puiu on the making of SIERANEVADA (2016). He has been one of the founders of the debate cinema "Kontra Kadar" and the first autonomous cultural social center in Skopje - AKSC. For eight years he was a member of Manaki Brothers IFF.
